Scoop approached us with a vision to develop a cohesive brand identity that could support their dual operations: video production and ad content creation. They offer a detailed step-by-step process for developing the visual content and testing within the digital ad space and needed professional a brand identity to effectively communicate their expertise across industries.
The project was divided into three main phases: Brand Strategy, Brand Development, and Website Development.
To position Scoop effectively in the competitive film and advertising industry, we developed a brand strategy that aligned with their vision and values while appealing to a broad audience. Positioning Scoop as the 'Mother' brand for both Scoop Filmworks and Scoop Adworks as two separate departments within the company.
The concept for "Scoop" leverages bold, minimal geometric forms to engage our audience and reinforce brand presence. Our playful use of the 16:9 aspect ratio, with an expanded "O" and brand symbol, reflects a director’s viewpoint on set. Additionally, our deep "live recording" red indicator color subtly ties our brand back to the industry we serve.
With their new brand identity, Scoop needed a website capable of showcasing extensive video content while ensuring fast load speeds and a smooth user experience. We developed a custom-coded CMS solution that allowed for easy video uploads, automatic playback, and a clean, UI-free player.
